SSC - Constable (GD) Recruitment 2026

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026, with a total of 25,487 vacancies across BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles, and SSF.
Candidates who have passed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/University on or before 01-01-2026, and are aged between 18 and 23 years as on 01-01-2026, are eligible to apply. Applications are accepted online only via https://ssc.gov.in from 01 December 2025 to 31 December 2025.
The selection process includes a Computer Based Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test, Medical Examination, and Document Verification. The pay scale for all selected candidates is Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100).
Application fee is Rs. 100 for general candidates; women, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted. Fee payment is accepted online only up to 01 January 2026.
