Editorial Policy
How we source, verify, edit, and update every government recruitment notification we publish.
Last reviewed: 2026-05-07
Our Editorial Mission
Sarkarify is an independent publication covering Indian government recruitment. Our single goal is to help candidates find every notification that matters, understand what it requires, and apply on time. We do not accept payment to include, omit, prioritise, or recommend any notification, exam, or coaching provider in our editorial coverage.
Sourcing & Verification
Every job, admit card, result, answer key, syllabus, and cut-off we publish is traced to a primary source — the official notification PDF, the recruiting body's website, or the relevant gazette. Each job page links directly to the official advertisement and the official application portal so candidates can independently verify the information we summarise.
- Notifications are summarised, not copy-pasted, to keep them readable on small screens.
- Dates, fees, vacancies, and eligibility are taken verbatim from the official PDF.
- If the official source is ambiguous or inconsistent, we publish what the source says and flag the ambiguity rather than guess.
Updates & Versioning
Government recruitment notifications change — dates extend, vacancies revise, rules amend. When we update a published page, the “last updated” date on the article and the dateModified field in our structured data both refresh.
We treat the following as substantive updates: changes to application start / end date, changes to fee, addition or removal of vacancies, eligibility amendments, and addition of admit card / result / answer key links. Cosmetic edits (typos, formatting) do not bump dateModified.

Editor
Navneet Kumar leads editorial at Sarkarify. Every government recruitment notification we publish is verified against the official source — UPSC, SSC, Railways, Banking, Defence, and State PSC — and summarised with direct links to the official advertisement, application portal, and admit-card pages.
Ethics & Independence
- No paid inclusion. Notifications are covered on news value, not on payment. We never accept fees from recruiting bodies, coaching providers, or aggregators in exchange for editorial placement.
- Advertising is visually distinct. Display ads served via Google AdSense are kept visually separate from editorial content. We do not currently run sponsored placements; if introduced in the future, they will be clearly labelled “Sponsored”.
- Conflict of interest. Editorial team members do not hold positions in, or accept gifts from, any recruiting body or coaching provider we cover.
- Fact-check first, publish second. When the source is unclear or contested, we delay publication until we can verify rather than racing competitors.
Diversity of Coverage
Our editorial scope spans central government recruitment (UPSC, SSC, Railways, PSU, Defence, Banking), every Indian state public service commission, and sectoral recruitment boards. We commit to publishing notifications across all states and sectors irrespective of perceived audience size, language of notification, or recruitment scale.
AI Usage Disclosure
We use AI tooling to assist with parsing official PDFs, drafting plain-language summaries, and generating structured data. Every published page is reviewed by a human editor before going live. We do not publish AI-generated content without human verification, and AI is never the source of facts — it is a drafting aid layered over verified primary sources.
