| 🎓 Eligibility Details |

Candidates must be Indian nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the respective posts. The minimum educational qualification for most Operator and Technician grade posts is passing the 10th Standard with a valid ITI certificate from NCVT or NCVET in the relevant trade of two years duration, along with an Apprenticeship certificate in the prescribed trade. For Junior Foreman (Mines), a full-time Diploma in Mining or Mining Engineering is required along with a valid Mining Foreman Certificate of Competency restricted to opencast Metalliferous Mines as issued by DGMS. For Junior Foreman (Electrical), a full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university is required along with a valid Supervisory Certificate of Competency covering M.V., H.T., and E.H.T. mining installations as issued by the Electrical Licensing Board, Odisha. For the SUPT(JOT)-Laboratory post, a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Chemistry is the minimum requirement. Only qualifications from institutions recognized and accredited by UGC, AICTE, NCVT, NCVET, SCTE&VT, or established by Central or State Governments are considered. ITI or Diploma in branches other than those specified for a particular post shall not be considered, and no claim of equivalent qualification is entertained. All candidates must hold a valid employment exchange registration card. Candidates who have not acquired the prescribed qualification or do not meet the age criteria by the closing date of application need not apply. |

As per Government guidelines, 20 posts (including 10 backlog posts) are horizontally reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) across the categories identified in the vacancy table. A further 38 posts are horizontally reserved for Ex-Servicemen (ESM). SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS reservation applies as per Presidential Directives; numbers of reserved posts may vary if total posts increase or decrease. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must submit certificates issued on or after 01.04.2026. EWS candidates must submit Income and Asset Certificates issued on or after 01.04.2026. PwBD candidates with more than 40 percent permanent disability are eligible against PwBD reserved posts.
