National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Information Bulletin for UGC-NET June 2026 on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The test determines the eligibility of Indian nationals for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, and admission to PhD programmes in universities and colleges across India.
Eligible candidates holding a Master's degree or appearing in their final year of Master's can apply online through the official NTA portal. The Computer Based Test (CBT) comprises two papers — General Teaching and Research Aptitude, and a domain-specific subject paper — conducted in CBT mode across exam centres spread throughout the country.
