RPSC - 121 Lecturer Special Education Online Form 2026

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Ajmer has issued a detailed recruitment advertisement for the post of Lecturer in Special Education under the Secondary Education Department, Government of Rajasthan. The recruitment is being conducted under the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services (Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2021 with a total of 121 sanctioned posts, subject to revision. The positions are permanent and carry a Pay Matrix Level L-12 as fixed by the Rajasthan government pay scales. Additionally, candidates must hold a B.Ed. (Special Education) or a two-year Diploma in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). A special condition mandates that applicants must be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) on a permanent or provisional basis prior to the date of the recruitment examination, and must produce their permanent registration number at the time of appointment. Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari script and familiarity with Rajasthani culture is required. Candidates whose final year result is pending may apply, but must produce proof of qualifying the prescribed educational qualifications before appearing in the competitive examination as organized by RPSC. The minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 40 years as on 01 January 2027, subject to applicable relaxations for reserved categories.

Reservation is applied as per Rajasthan government norms with posts distributed across GEN (UR), SC, ST, OBC, MBC, and EWS categories. Horizontal reservation is provided for Ex-Servicemen (GEN/UR-2, OBC-1), and Persons with Disabilities (B/LV-2, D/HH-1, OA/OL/BL/OAL type-1, Multiple Disability-1). Women candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, MBC, and EWS get 10 years additional age relaxation; General women get 5 years. Widows and divorced/judicially separated women have no upper age limit. PwBD candidates receive 5 years relaxation as per Rajasthan Disabilities Rights Rules 2018. Rajasthan domicile is mandatory to avail state-level reservations; candidates from other states are treated as General category.
