📖 Overview

Bank of Baroda, one of India's leading public sector banks, has issued a notification for the engagement of 5000 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, as amended from time to time. The apprenticeship programme is conducted in association with BFSI SSC and spans all major States and Union Territories across India, providing graduates with structured on-the-job banking training lasting 12 months. This is not a regular or contractual employment; selected candidates will serve as trainees and will not be entitled to employee benefits. The programme is designed to impart practical banking knowledge and skills to fresh graduates, contributing to the BFSI sector's skill development objectives under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). Apprentices receive a monthly stipend and are awarded an Apprenticeship Certificate upon successful completion of a final assessment. The bank reserves the right to allot training seats at any notified centre within the selected State based on merit and administrative requirements. This engagement does not confer any right to regular employment with the Bank after the completion of training.
