| 📖 Overview |
|---|
The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is the central recruitment authority for Group B and Group C posts across various departments, autonomous bodies, and local bodies under the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. DSSSB conducts combined examinations to fill teaching and non-teaching vacancies across Delhi government institutions. This recruitment drive is for the post of Assistant Teacher (Primary) under a Combined Examination, 2025, covering vacancies in two major bodies: the Directorate of Education, which is the primary body overseeing government school education in Delhi, and the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), which administers civic services and schools in the New Delhi area. The Assistant Teacher (Primary) post is a Group B non-ministerial, non-gazetted position placed at Pay Level 6. Teachers recruited through this process will be responsible for primary level education in government schools, playing a foundational role in shaping early childhood learning outcomes. The DSSSB follows a transparent, merit-based, computer-based examination process with normalization of scores across shifts and a structured post preference system to allocate candidates to departments based on merit and choice. |
