DSSC - 78 LDC, MTS, Driver, Various Posts Offline Form 2026

Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), located at Wellington in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu, is a premier tri-service military educational institution functioning under the Integrated Defence Staff. DSSC is responsible for higher-level staff training of officers from the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and friendly foreign militaries. To support its administrative and operational functions, the Commandant, DSSC has announced a recruitment drive for civilian Group C posts under the 7th Central Pay Commission pay matrix. The vacancies span a diverse range of roles: clerical support through Lower Division Clerk and Stenographer Grade II, transport support via Civilian Motor Driver, general support through Multi Tasking Staff, technical infrastructure roles including Supervisor (Networking), Network Administrator, and Hardware Administrator, and trade-specific roles such as Lineman, Boat Builder, and Technical Attendant/Printing Machine Operator. Reservations are provided for OBC, SC, ST, EWS, Ex-Servicemen, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as per central government norms. The Commandant retains the right to modify vacancy counts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.

Reservation follows central government norms: SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories are represented across posts as printed in the vacancy table. Two LDC, three Civilian Motor Driver, and five MTS vacancies are earmarked for Ex-Servicemen, adjusted against respective caste categories. Three MTS vacancies are reserved for PwBD (one each for Hearing Handicapped, Orthopedically Handicapped, and Autism/Intellectual/Multiple Disability including deaf-blindness). Age relaxation is extended only for posts reserved for OBC/SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD.
