Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), functioning under the Government of India's Ministry of Railways, have issued Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 02/2026 as an indicative notice for the recruitment of Technicians across the Indian Railways network. This notification covers two categories of posts: Technician Grade-I Signal, placed at Pay Level 5 of the 7th Central Pay Commission, and Technician Grade-III, placed at Pay Level 2. The recruitment is being conducted centrally across 21 participating RRBs spread throughout the country, covering regional boards from Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bilaspur, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Jammu-Srinagar, Kolkata, Malda, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Prayagraj, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Siliguri, Thiruvananthapuram, and Gorakhpur. This indicative notice has been issued solely to inform prospective candidates about the forthcoming recruitment so they can prepare necessary certificates and documents in advance.
