| 📖 Overview |
|---|
The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is the primary recruitment authority for Group B and Group C posts across departments, autonomous bodies, and local bodies under the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Advertisement No. 01/2026 covers a Combined Examination for four distinct post categories: Legal Assistant (Post Code 801/26), Assistant Engineer Civil (Post Code 802/26), Junior Engineer Civil (Post Code 803/26), and Grade-II (GNCTDSS) / Assistant Section Officer (Post Code 804/26). Legal Assistant vacancies are spread across the Delhi Pollution Control Committee, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board, Department of Law Justice and Legislative Affairs, and Delhi Transport Corporation. Engineering vacancies are in Delhi Jal Board, Delhi Agricultural Marketing Board, and New Delhi Municipal Council. The Grade-II and ASO vacancies, which constitute the bulk of the recruitment, are primarily in the Services Department of GNCTD along with DPCC and DUSIB. DSSSB conducts Computer-Based Examinations with normalisation across shifts using the Score Normalisation Based on Deviation Method formula. The Board follows a merit-cum-preference model where candidates exercise department preferences at the e-dossier stage after qualifying in the written examination. Reservation benefits are extended as per GNCTD and DoPT guidelines. Only OBC (Delhi) candidates notified by the Government of NCT of Delhi are eligible for OBC reservation benefits in this recruitment. |
