📖 Overview

The Society for Centralized Recruitment of Staff in Subordinate Courts (S.S.S.C.) functions under the aegis of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana and is the centralized body responsible for recruiting clerical and supporting staff for the subordinate judiciary across Haryana. The present recruitment drive is for the post of Clerk across District and Sessions Courts throughout the state, covering regular vacancies as well as backlog vacancies being advertised for the second or third time in several categories. Clerks in the Subordinate Courts of Haryana perform essential judicial administrative functions including maintenance of court records, case file management, data entry, and support to judicial officers. The service is governed by the Haryana Subordinate Courts Establishment (Recruitment and General Conditions of Service) Rules, 1997, as amended, and the Haryana Civil Services Rules, 2016. The High Court retains final authority over all selection decisions, shortlisting criteria, and appointment recommendations. The recruitment covers multiple reservation categories including Scheduled Castes (Deprived and Other), Backward Classes A and B, Economically Weaker Sections, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities across various sub-categories, Ex-Servicemen and their dependents, and Eligible Sports Persons — all strictly limited to bonafide residents of Haryana holding valid certificates from Haryana Government competent authorities.
