The Indian Navy invites online applications from unmarried male and unmarried female candidates for enrolment as Agniveer MR (Musician) under the 02/2026 batch. The Agniveer scheme provides a four-year engagement period with the Indian Navy, with an opportunity for up to 25% of each batch to be considered for permanent enrolment as regular sailors on completion of service.
Candidates must have passed Matriculation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and must possess demonstrated proficiency in music including tempo, pitch, and instrumental skill. Selection is conducted through Physical Fitness Test, Written Examination, Music Ability Test, and Recruitment Medical Examination, with final merit determined on the basis of Music Ability Test performance on an all-India basis.
