RPSC - 3225 School Lecturer Coach 2025 - Exam Date

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Ajmer is the apex state recruitment body responsible for conducting competitive examinations and making recommendations for appointments to various Group A and Group B state services. This recruitment drive is being conducted on behalf of the Secondary Education Department, Government of Rajasthan, to fill 3225 vacancies for School Lecturer and Coach posts across 27 subjects including languages, sciences, social sciences, commerce, arts, physical education, and sports coaching disciplines. The posts are governed by the Rajasthan Education (State and Subordinate) Service Rules, 2021, with pay at Pay Matrix Level L-12 as per state government norms. School Lecturers play a critical role in senior secondary education across Rajasthan's government schools, delivering instruction at the post-graduation knowledge level and contributing to the state's educational development goals. Coach posts are intended to strengthen sports training infrastructure within the school education system. The recruitment is significant in scale, especially for Commerce (430), Political Science (350), Hindi (710), and Drawing (180) subject areas, and represents one of the largest school lecturer recruitments in recent years by RPSC.

Candidates must possess a Post Graduate degree or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in the relevant subject for lecturer posts in most disciplines (S.No. 1 to 12 and 14 to 16). For Home Science (S.No. 13), the PG must be recognized by UGC or the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. For Biology (S.No. 17), the PG must be in Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Bio-Technology, Life Science, or Bio-Science, with Botany and Zoology studied at graduation level. For Commerce (S.No. 18), a B.Com along with PG in Commerce is required, or a PG in Commerce with at least two teaching subjects for Higher Secondary as prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan, Ajmer. For Drawing (S.No. 19), a PG in Drawing recognized by UGC or a Government diploma of four or five years in Fine Arts from any recognized school or college is required. For Music (S.No. 20), a PG in Music recognized by UGC or equivalent. For Physical Education (S.No. 21), a Graduate degree plus M.P.Ed (2 years) recognized by NCTE. For Coach posts (S.No. 22–27), a Graduate degree recognized by UGC with a full-time NIS certificate in the relevant sport. A Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by NCTE is mandatory for S.No. 1–21. Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari script and familiarity with Rajasthani culture is required.

Reservation is applied as per Rajasthan state government rules. Male candidates belonging to SC, ST, Backward Classes, More Backward Classes, and EWS of Rajasthan receive 5 years age relaxation. Female candidates from the same categories receive 10 years relaxation. General category women receive 5 years relaxation. Widows and divorcees have no upper age limit. Ex-Servicemen receive up to 10 years relaxation (maximum age 50, or 55 years where lower post experience is essential). PwBD candidates receive 5 years relaxation per Rajasthan Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules 2018. Horizontal reservation applies for women, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen within respective vertical caste categories. Rajasthan state SC/ST/OBC/EWS reservations are available only to bona fide Rajasthan domicile candidates; candidates from other states must apply as General category.
